The Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal raises money by countless events, some of them big like the walk by five ladies from John O’Groats to Lands End but most of them small like annual Golf Days, sponsored cycle rides, coffee mornings, bring and buys and pub quizzes. There have also been countless generous donations by individuals. All have contributed to the nearly £3 million raised so far.

You, your family, your friends, your neighbours and work colleagues – can help raise the vital funds in all sorts of ways, sharing the workload of organising events and enjoying the excitement and the sense of satisfaction. Here are a few suggestions: coffee mornings, garden parties, craft stalls, raffles, auctions, quizzes, sponsored events (cycling, running, walking, swimming or even just slimming!).
